I won't lie, I admire beautiful things.,and people. When I come across beautiful images of people, even randomly, for example on the internet, the first thing i do is show it to whoever I'm around and tell them how beautiful I think the person is( male or female).
I remember sharing an image of a male model i saw online on my whatsapp status and jokingly asking my friends to help me thank the Lord for being a master creator.
It is okay to admire beautiful images, to pray to have similar things in one's own life, but most times people want what they see without being willing to find out what process the person went through to have what they do. People are not often willing to pour in the hard work others did to have what they now do.
A nice image of a married couple will not on its surface tell the story of the many tests that has rocked the marriage. It would not show the sacrifices the couple have had to make to get to the point they are at now.
There is a church that recently moved to my neighborhood and more than once people who do not know about the origins or early beginnings of the church tell me 'Naana, have you seen the church that just started here? You should see the number of cars that have parked there. Just now o!'. And then when I tell them how long the church has been in existence and that even though they recently started in the neighborhood, they didn't just start recently start but merely changed venues, the surprise is evident on their faces and then they usually keep quiet.
It is typical of we humans to talk 'bad' about things we don't know much about when we don't understand how it operates. It is often the case that we either 'bastardize' what big things others have or are doing because our's are not doing as well. Or we envy what others have, so that we want it for ourselves without being willing to pay the price. That is why sometimes people don't go out to have 'just' a relationship with a married woman, but they go out there plotting on ways to get her husband out of the picture so they can have the good wife for themselves.
Anything that you take forcefully you often lose in same manner but what you admire you attract.
So when someone is operating in an area you would want to be in, try to understudy the person. Be willing to learn from the person. If you can't get access to them personally, get access to their materials and be willing to pay the price that is required,to have the rewards that you desire. It will pay off in the end.
