A young man desiring to better his living standards used his life savings to buy a ticket on a ship in search of greener pastures. The amount he had left was so little he could only afford a little amount of provisions for the journey. On board the ship,he would leave his bedside every evening and hide behind the door of the dining hall looking at all the rich people dining and partying,and would come and take a little of his biscuits, hoping one day he would also be able to afford the expensive looking food he saw them eating.
